Privacy

Privacy is a valid concern for anyone who uses the internet for learning, social, or business help. There are issues which will take years to sort out, and there will always be issues, just like in the physical world of brick and mortar business.

For our part, we will not sell your information to anyone. We hate spam, and have a strict anti spam policy. Your information is secure and safe with us.

Third parties

On any website or blog, there are third parties involved. These are usually browsers, search engines, and advertisers. Almost all of these third parties collect bits of information on visits to a website. This is done to create smoother, faster surfing, better search results, and more highly targeted advertising results for a better user experience. We do not have control of the information that these entities gather. If you are concerned about this, you can contact them, and in many cases, opt out of the information collection process.

Other privacy issues

Concern about identity theft is not just paranoia. Concern about credit card theft is a valid concern, but no more so than in a brick and mortar business. At the restaurant last night, did you give your waiter your credit card to pay the bill? If so, did he take it to a place where he was no longer visible?

The point is, that fraud is not limited to online purchases. It is possible everywhere. You are just as likely to suffer from it in the physical world as in cyberspace.
